Use a Professional or do it yourself?
I cannot express enough that you need to HIRE A PROFESSIONAL!! I have personally had clients who thought a friend or partner could install - uh NO!! There are so many aspects to take into consideration:
Hardware being used
Installation of molly bolts
Bracket placements and how many
Steaming of fabric etc. Don't cut corners here. I have had to go in and have installers completely take down existing jobs, patch holes, and rehang treatments. Lifting heavy long cornice boards is not an easy job. Ask me, I have done hands on work with installers many, many times.
There is a wide choice of hardware depending on the budget to choose from, to enhance a drapery treatment if needed.
